Dr. Jessica Wexler

Hello, thank you for visiting my site. I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing short-term and long-term Psychotherapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to adolescents, adults, and couples in my private offices in Central Square, Cambridge and in the Financial District, in Boston, MA.

I have experience treating a variety of issues, including:
  • Anxiety Disorders (Anxiety, Panic, Phobia, Post Traumatic Stress)
  • Depression
  • Managing stress
  • Eating Disorders/body image concerns
  • Life transitions
  • Grief
  • Caring for a mentally or physically ill family member
  • Relationship Issues
  • Fertility issues
  • Desire for increased self understanding

My style of working is depth-oriented, warm, and down to earth. I value the input of and collaboration with my patients to inform our work together.

I use an integrative treatment approach, combining insight and skills-based techniques. In other words, I help my patients understand how their past experiences and relationships shaped who they are now (insight) and I help them to develop tools for coping with current life problems (skills based). This integrative style helps patients to effectively link their past, present, and future.

I work with patients to develop the most effective, efficient, and meaningful program to resolve their problems, to manage their emotional and physical states, and to achieve their life goals.

My clinic is open to people of all nationalities, genders, and orientations (sexual, religious, political) and I enjoy working with anyone who desires to change and grow.
